Tulsa Hotels
Although Tulsa is in the southern United States, its culture is strongly influenced by the Midwest, Southwest, and historic Native American presence. This is evident through the city's many art museums, year-round cultural festivals, historic monuments, and performing arts.
One of Tulsa's more popular attractions includes the Philibrook Museum, one of the top 50 fine art museums in the nation. Downtown Brady Theater is another hot spot - it's the city's largest performing arts venue and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Visitors can also enjoy the Tulsa Zoo and Living Museum, voted “America's Favorite Zoo” in 2005, or stroll through the Oklahoma Aquarium, the state's only freestanding aquarium.
Tulsa is home to more than 140 parks that span 6,000 acres. Perhaps most famous is Woodward Park in midtown, which houses a botanical garden with thousands of rose plants. Paved trails run for more than 10 miles throughout the city, while off-road trails just outside Tulsa are perfect for biking, hiking, and horseback riding.
